The Audacity of Hope – Barack Obama (2006)

In the past decades the conception of what an “ideal” life is like has drastically changed. The definition of the American Dream has shifted throughout time, due to the fact that the new generations have different necessities according to the political, economic, and social scenario of their time. The current U.S. president, Barack Obama, discusses this topic on his book “The Audacity of Hope: Reclaiming the American Dream”, in which he argues that anyone who hopes to achieve the American Dream can do it, regardless of their background. However, there are several policy arrangements that need to be made by the government, so that stability and security, in all aspects of life, can be reached by every American citizen.

Here you can check out Obama at the national democratic convention where he first delivered the speech that inspired the homonymous book.
